Hey, folks!I just wanted to take the time to wish the Church a happy birthday! Almost 2000 years ago, this day was marked by the Spirit's arrival, and empowering over the earliest Christians in an upper room (Acts 2). This event also reminds us that God is continually present and active in the world today.
As God's all-encompassing presence in the world, the Holy Spirit continues to breathe life in us, renewing our minds, hearts and will. The indwelling of God's Spirit in the lives of ordinary people also reaffirms the goodness of His creation, and the hope we have for daily rebirth as we follow Jesus!
Happy Pentecost, and may God bless you in all your endeavours, through Christ and God's life-giving Spirit!
